Agency Description:
The YMCA Foster Youth Mentoring Program is part of the YMCA of Orange County Community Services Division. Our program provides support for fosteer youth ages 6-17 and their familes through monthly FunDay events and Academic Mentoring. Once a month foster parents are given a much needed day off while the children participate in new experiences and fun activities such as amusement parks, museums, and more. Foster children are matched with an adult mentor for the day who encourages and supports their growth and experience.
